C oe-Brown Northwood Academy, founded in 1867, is a private comprehensive secondary institution offering the highest quality curriculum of studies to the residents of Northwood, Strafford, and surrounding towns. Our educational programs and opportunities are accessible to both traditional and non-traditional learners, responsive to the diverse needs of an ever-changing community, and consistent with state and federal laws supporting the education of our youth.
The campus consists of Pinkham Hall and the main Academy classroom building, Smith Hall, Soper Hall, Wiggin Hall Fine Arts Center, Science building, playing fields and woodlands.
Coe-Brown Northwood Academy is an approved high school and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Students from the surrounding towns are accepted on a tuition basis.
The Academy is chartered by the State of New Hampshire and is governed by a Board of Trustees, which meets on a regular schedule to conduct the educational and business affairs of the school.
Approximately 700 students, in grades 9-12, from the towns of Northwood, Strafford, Nottingham, Deerfield, and Barrington will be attending CBNA in the fall of 2012.
