Important Announcement Regarding Fraudulent Fundraising

We have heard from several local businesses that they have been approached both by phone and by a personal visit by a “Jan McCay” from a company called “SRI.”  This company is claiming that they are working on behalf of Coe-Brown on a “drug prevention” campaign and they are asking local businesses to sponsor the program.  Coe-Brown is NOT affiliated with this company and they are NOT working with us on any campaigns.  Any money given to this company does NOT benefit your students.  Any time you are asked to donate money to support Coe-Brown, please contact the Academy directly if you do not recognize the person or the organization.  We regret that any local business may have donated in good faith to such a scam and hope to prevent this company from taking advantage of our community’s generous spirit.
