CBNA Chapter of FBLA Holds Induction Ceremony
Coe-Brown Northwood Academy’s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) hosted its induction and officer installation ceremony at CBNA on November 4, 2015. Led by FBLA advisor Dr. JoAnn Zylak, FBLA Officers welcomed guests and gave presentations regarding the Mission, Goals, Code of Ethics and History of FBLA. There was also information given about the CONNECT with FBLA project in which chapters are challenged to obtain sponsorships for their individual chapter activities. Members who were inducted or installed are as follows: President – Brittany Guilmette (senior); Vice-President – Meghan Percy (senior); Secretary- Nate Schroeder (sophomore); Event Coordinator – Derek Meyer (junior); Treasurer – Abigail Dupuis (junior); Historian – Ambar Mercedes (senior); Parliamentarian – Nicole Beaupre (senior); Reporters senior Kristina Mitchell and junior Caitlin Pitre as well as members at large seniors Megan Elwell, Brendan Fallon, Tayla George, Jared Nelson; juniors Summer Barnes, Steven Chase, Maddie Cillo, Emily Ketchum, Donald MacCallum, Chelsea McCallion, Mikayla Prina and Abby Zollman ; sophomore Amaya Newport and freshman Aiden Ahern. Refreshments were served. Congratulations to CBNA’s Future Business Leaders on their new members and on their enthusiasm for FBLA’s mission “to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.”
