Coe-Brown Faculty and Students’ Solar Eclipse Activities Featured in the Boston Globe

Coe-Brown students view the eclipse.

We invite you to read the Boston Globe’s “Looking up into a personal path of discovery: NH students collect data for NASA studies of 2017 eclipse. This article features the partnership between Coe-Brown’s Science department and administration and the GLOBE Program US Country Coordinator Jen Bourgeault, based at UNH, to have students record and enter scientific data for NASA databases while also observing the August 21st solar eclipse, which happened to be our opening day. A special thank you to all involved, especially science faculty members Jill Forward and Scott Goelzer for their coordination, and the other science faulty who faciltitated viewing stations around campus for students.
